Exclusion of the press and public: The Chairman to inform any members of the Public or Press that in view of confidential business to be transacted in items 13 & 14
on the agenda that they are excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (admission to meetings) Act 1960 Section 1 (2).

Public and Press Participation Maximum of 15 minutes- Any Elector of the Parish of Essington may raise a question by prior request in writing to the clerk within the period of publication of the agenda and the meeting itself, on any issue relating to Official Parish Council Business as detailed in the agenda.

1.) Apologies- Warren Fisher & James Parker
2.) Declarations of Interest- None
3.) Minutes of the last meeting the 7th of July 2025- Proposed by Hilary, seconded by Ken, all in favour, that the minutes were a true and accurate record.
4.) Schedule of Payments – Aug/Sept 2025- Proposed by Hilary seconded by Ken, all in favour to be recommended to Full Council for ratification.
5.) Income and Expenditure report – July/Aug 2025 – Proposed by Ken, seconded by Hilary, all in favour to be recommended to Full Council for ratification.
6.) Bank Reconciliation both Accounts – July/Aug 2025- Proposed by Chris, seconded by Ken, all in favour, to be recommended to Full Council for ratification.
7.) Asset Register Review- Noted
8.) Insurance Renewal- Noted
9.) Washroom Services- Councillors discussed the increase to include additional necessary sanitary items and resolved to recommend to Full Council for ratification.
10.) RFO Home Office Furniture- Councillors agreed to recommend to Full Council for ratification, the costs incurred by the RFO to purchase a desk, chair, storage unit etc to create a more suitable home office. Total cost of £306.16
11.) VAT Partial Exemption- Deferred
12.) Pension Policy- Councillors noted the policy suggested by the RFO based on the template on the Staffs Pension Fund website, reduction for flexible retirement similar to the Civil Service Pension was also mentioned. More Information necessary for Full Council to consider.
13.) Tennant Rent Arrears- It was resolved that usual procedure should be followed.
14.) Tennant’s Leases- Nothing further to report, stay on Agenda.
15.) Date of the next meeting- 13th of October 2025
