PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 7 AND 8 ESSINGTON
TEMPORARY CLOSURE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Staffordshire County Council, on 09 October 2018, made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian, horse rider or cyclist from proceeding along that length of Public Footpath No. 7 Essington (for its full length – points A to B on the attached plan) and Public Footpath No. 8 Essington from its junction with Public Footpath No. 9 Essington (point C on the attached plan) to the site boundary adjacent to Hough Way (point A on the attached plan). The closure is required to allow for Bovis Homes construction works.

A plan will be displayed showing the length of public footpath to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 15 October 2018 and will remain in force for a further period of 1 year or until the construction works are complete, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after 1 year, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
