Exclusion of the press and public: to exclude the press and public during the consideration of the items set out on the agenda 11,12 on the grounds that it may involve the disclosure of exempt information as set in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12a to the local government act 1972. 

Minutes

Present: Councillors, Chris Steel, Chairman, Vice-Chair Hilary Southern, James Parker, Warren Fisher and Ken Moseley.

Also present: Louise Tipler, Clerk and Joe Yates, Admin Assistant.
 
1. Apologies – Gill Kelly, Joy Markiewicz, Thelma Mattison.
2. Declarations of Interest – None.
3. Approval of the last meeting minutes the 21st of October 2024 – Proposed by Hilary and seconded by Chris, all in favour that the minutes were a true and accurate record.
4. Matters Arising – No matters arising.
5. ECC –
a. Community Centre Hall Porch – Alarm – Re-zoning of the whole centre, Council agreed this as a project for January 2025.
b. Community Centre – Ladies Toilet Refurbishment – Colour of cubicles were decided. The Clerk advised Council of the Management Plan of Works.
c. Posts and SIDS- update – Stay on Agenda.
d. Tree Maintenance Regime – Stay on Agenda.
e. Tree Policy – Stay on Agenda.
f. Car Park – Pedestrian Fall – Awaiting further Correspondence from Insurers.
g. Renew Waste Management Contract – Get Quotes from other waste companies.
h. CCTV – Rear of Community Centre – WF to look at fire plan to put in place CCTV.
i. Chill Out Club – Refund 2 sessions once keys have been returned and equipment removed from the CC.
J. Community Newsletter – Stay on Agenda.
k. Celebration in the Community – Suggestions of hymns taken on board, Joy and Ken to do readings, Individual award nominations to Clerk. Gill to be asked if she would like to

announce awards otherwise James Parker will step in. Contact local photographer for photos.

a) Play Equipment – Still Awaiting Delivery.

7. Westcroft
a) Play Equipment – Still Awaiting Delivery.
8) Wyrley Juniors/Teddy Bears
a) Driveway bushes and trees – Clerk to follow up.
9) Pools Project – Application has been submitted.
 10) Swan Park – New Signs, No Dogs Allowed except Guide Dogs.
11) Essington RUFC – Parish Council no objections to outdoor storage facility – ERUFC should check with planning.
12) Medical Centre – Closed session – The Clerk to contact the Council’s Solicitor.
13) Land Titles – Stay on Agenda.
14) Date of the Next Meeting- 9th December 2024.
