Meeting Announcement- 23RD of September 2026
Councillors are Summoned to attend a Full Parish Council Meeting on Monday the 28th of September 2026 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chamber, to consider the following matters itemised on the agenda.
This meeting may be recorded. The Parish Council does not take responsibility for recordings made by members of the public. Anyone wishing to record the meeting should inform the Council and those present before the meeting starts, to protect individual rights.
This meeting will enter into closed session during Items 9 & 10 due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted

To approve the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on the 27th of July 2026.
4. Public Participation Maximum of 15 minutes-The Chairman will advise attendees that the meeting will be adjourned for 15 minutes to allow any Elector of the Parish of Essington to raise a question under item 5 on the agenda in person or by prior request in writing to the clerk within the period of publication of the agenda and the meeting itself, on any issue relating to Official Parish Council Business.

7.4 To approve paying the Wolverhampton Tree Services invoice from the Tree Maintenance Earmarked Reserve
7.5 To approve rounding up the Ezz Fest Stall & Pitch Hire Income of £487 to £500 and donating this to 2 nominated charities
7.6 To note receipt and review the audited AGAR
7.7 To review the annual Insurance
7.8 To note the Local Government Services Pay Agreement 2026
7.9 To note the Clerk’s additional pay point for completing CiLCA Qualification.
7.10 To ratify the quotation for the Disability Toilet Refurbishment (three quotations received), noting that EHG Home and Gardens was recommended by the Management Committee.
7.11 To ratify the quotation for the Office Refurbishment (three quotations received), noting that EHG Home and Gardens was recommended by the Management Committee.
7.12 To ratify the quotations for the telecom’s digital switchover (three quotations received), noting that Flotek was recommended by the Management Committee.
7.13 To ratify the quotations for the Website Renewal (three quotations received), noting that Aubergine was recommended by the Management Committee.
7.14 To consider quotation from Hilton main for 1911 Café Emergency Exit- handrail.
7.15 To note Quotation from Ashmore Glass for replacement Fire Doors to both Emergency Exits from the 1911 Café.
8. Confidential Business
In accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, Section 1(2), The Chairman will advise that the press and public are to be excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted in item number 9 & 10 on the agenda.
