Minutes Essington Parish Council Full Council Meeting the 7TH December 2020 @ 7pm Meeting will be held via Zoom.

1). Apologies, Cllr Dodd.
2). Declaration of Interests- Chairman Councillor Steel and Councillor Southern declared an interest in Item 9 Planning re plans for an extension to St John’s School
3). Approval of Minutes of the last Meeting. Proposed by Councillor Southern Seconded by Councillor Nicklin- all in favour
4). Matters arising from the last meetings minutes- None
5) Peninsula-Presentation Health and Safety Package. Chairman Cllr Steel Proposed a Five year deal, Seconded by Cllr Kelly 2x Abstained- all in favour
6) County Councillors Report-None
7). District Councillors Report- None
8). Correspondence- 1911 Café wrote to Council asking for a reduction in rent due to their closure during Covid Restrictions. Chairman Cllr Steel proposed that due to the closure. the Council should give the Café a rent Holiday for Nov/Dec with a review in early January 2021,Seconded by Cllr Southern-all in Favour. ERUFC have also requested a rent Holiday to help with costs of a new roof. Cllr Fisher proposed a rent free period during 2021\22 as a contribution from EPC, Seconded by Cllr Nicklin- all in favour.
9). Finance
a) Summary of payments to be passed. Proposed by Cllr Southern, Seconded by Cllr Haddon- all in Favour.
b) Ratify Budget- & 3 Year spending Forecast. Cllr Fisher has taken on the task and will hope to have completed by the end of December for the next Full Council in January 2020.
c) Performance against Budget-End of December- January Meeting.
d) Pre paid Payment Card- Proposed by Cllr Fisher Seconded by Cllr Steel – all in favour
10) Planning- Chairman Cllr Steel advised Councillors regarding an application in Westcroft that district Councillors didn’t get to call in the Application and that the decision had been made.
Cllr Steel asked for an extension at 8.45pm until 9.15- all in Favour.
11) Swan Park- Insurance Claim- Claim for the burnt out park equipment is being Processed.

13) Street Buddies- to be re assessed in the New Year.
14) Foodbank Update- Donations from the Community continue to pour in.
15) Christmas Lights Update- Cllr Nicklin advised Council that the lights for St Johns Church and the Community Centre were due to be fitted on the 8.12.2020
16) Liason Committee- Cllr Southern and Cllr Nicklin volunteered to join Redhurst Quarry Committee. Cllr Steel to get contact details.
17) Centre Maintenance- to be put on the next Management Meeting Agenda.
