Full Parish Council Meeting held on Monday the 17th of April 2023 at 7.15 pm in the Council Chamber following the Annual Parish Meeting.

Public and Press Participation- none.

Present: Chairman Chris Steel, Councillors Hilary Southern, Gill Kelly, Steve Porter, Adrian Nicklin, Susan Sheldon, James Parker, and Ken Moseley.

Also Present: District Councillor Warren Fisher

Louise Tipler- Clerk

Kate Roberts- RFO.

  2. Declarations of Interest- James Parker Declared an interest to the Schedule of Payments expenditure April 2023.
  3. Approval of the Minutes of the meeting held on Monday the 13th of March 2023. Proposed by Hilary, Seconded by Chris- All in Favour.
  4. Matters arising from previous minutes-It was mentioned that Council had discussed at the February meeting to consider options surrounding Internal Auditors for the next financial year which was considered good practice given previous experience, the clerk will add to a later Agenda for further discussion.
  5. District Councillors Report –Waste management, Crime and road conditions were mentioned it is vital that residents report issues direct to County Council or District. Incidents which are crime related should be reported to 101 immediately which also enable’s resources to be extended.

6.2      Income and Expenditure Reports- March 2023 – Proposed by Chris Seconded by Hilary all in favour.

6.5        CCLA Investment Management– Defer to next Finance Committee Meeting.

  1. Walsall Football Club Ticket Allocation- Defer to Management Committee meeting Agenda.
  2. LNR- Following an on- site meeting with County and District Councillors Progress is being made towards
  3. Christmas Market– Deferred to next Management Agenda.

 

  1. Chill out Club- Update – A meeting has been arranged for Councillors to meet the organiser.
  2. Climate Change- Speak to our refuse contractor for a price for additional recycling bin.
  3. Date of the next meeting- 15th of May 2023
  4. Closure- 20.44 pm.
