Exclusion of Press and Public: to exclude the Press and Public during

Public Participation 15 minutes 1x Member of the Public was present but did not wish to raise anything.
Present: Councillors Chris Steel, Hilary Southern, Winston Haddon, Gill Kelly, Steve Porter, Adrian Nicklin, Louize Jackson, Susan Sheldon & James Parker.
Also in Attendance: RFO Kate Roberts, Clerk Louise Tipler.

2. Declarations of Interest- None
3. Minutes of the meeting held on the 8th November 2021- Proposed by Hilary, Seconded by Gill- All in Favour.
4. Matters arising from previous minutes- None
5. District Councillors Report- Councillors discussed the local plan assessment carried out by an independent accessor on behalf of local Parish Councils members were relatively happy with the report.
6. Correspondence- None
7. Financial Matters-
8. Schedule of Payments- to be tabled at the meeting -Proposed by Steve, Seconded by Winston -All in Favour

11. Ratify Honorariums- £500.00 Each Bailiff £200 Gate Key Holder Broad Lane. Proposed by Chris Steel, Seconded by Steve Porter- All in Favour.

12. Budget 22/23- It was suggested that Council should look at reducing the precept for the financial year 22/23 deferred for discussion at the next Full Council Meeting.
13. Highways- Update- Date for meeting still to be arranged- Following the advert in the Church Magazine for resident’s comments on Highways within the Parish the Council have received a flurry of concerns. Several attempts have been made to arrange a meeting with Highways however, no progress has yet been made. Council will continue to pursue.
14. Local Plan-Update- As discussed in district Councillor’s report.
15. Spring 6 race- Send proposed route to Councillors.
16. Tree maintenance and Liabilities- Parish Council – Deferred to the next Agenda.
17. Millennium Stone/ Miners Memorial- Suggestions were made on how to improve the visibility of the Millennium stone which has been masked by overgrowth, Adrian to contact Andrew Aston regarding the possibility of permanent removal of the bushes.
18. Climate change- The chairman suggested that we look at our current energy supplier and see what measures we can implement to help reduce our organisations Carbon footprint. Deferred to the next Agenda.
19. HR Matters- Closed Session- Councillors were advised of the current HR Matters the Clerk to report the outcome at the next meeting.
