Full Council Meeting 10th February 2020- 7pm. EP835
Draft Minutes Essington Parish Council Full Council Meeting 10th February 2020.
Chairman Chris Steel opened the Meeting at the slightly later time of 7.08pm. Welcoming all in attendance.
Public Participation. 3x Members of the public were present.
- Apologies- Cllr Southern, Cllr Bradburn, Cllr Dodd, Cllr Mattison, Cllr Moore, Cllr Haddon.
- Declaration of interest of Members. Cllr Fisher and Cllr Kelly declared an interest in item 12. Brownshore Pre-School. Cllr Fisher declared a Non- Pecuniary interest in item 9.d) Donation Essington Show and Item
13.b) Fire Alarm due to his family connection to one of the Companies Quoting. Chairman Chris Steel declared a Non- Pecuniary interest in Item 9.d)Essington Show Donation.
- Crime Report- Local Crime report can now be viewed on line- Police UK Crime Report.
- Approval of Minutes of the Last Meeting (13.01.2020) Proposed by Cllr Kelly Seconded by Cllr Curtis all in Favour that the minutes are a true record.
- Matters Arising from the last Meeting Minutes.

- Councillors Report- County Councillor Kath Perry attended the Meeting informing Council of the latest developments on all issues raised regarding the state of the roads, hedges and Footpaths in the Parish. She advised Councillors that everything was being done to address all the issues raised that she is aware of. She has also made several recommendations for repairs on our behalf.
- District Councillors Report-Cllr Fisher mentioned he was still chasing the Bellway 106 agreement.
- Correspondence-Chris Steel Read out correspondence from a concerned member of the Public raising concerns of the Road Conditions in the Parish. Cllr Fisher proposed that this be forwarded on to County Council. Cllr Curtis urged anyone who has had any damage to their vehicles must fill out a claim form Online and should be reported as soon as the incident occurs.
- Finance
- Summary of this Month’s Payments to be passed. Proposed by Cllr Pole Seconded by Cllr Kelly all in favour that the Cheques are passed for payment.
- Bank Reconciliation. The Acting Clerk to rectify an existing payment as cancelled.
- Tearooms Income and Expenditure/Future Viability. Cllr Fisher expressed that he personally believes that the Parish Council Shouldn’t run the Tearooms making a suggestion that a CIC could be an option. Cllr Porter made a point regarding Continuity of the existing Staff. Cllr Fisher proposed that we hold a Tearooms Committee Meeting with all of the Tearooms staff.
- Ratify- Donation to Essington Show £450.Proposed by Cllr Curtis, Seconded by Cllr Kelly all in Favour that the Parish Council will donate £450.00 to the Essington Show.

12.Brownshore Pre- School-Proposed by Cllr Curtis, Seconded by Cllr Pole that costs for utilities are set against improvements made by Kellytots- All in Favour.

Acting Clerk to get an update from Cllr Dodd.
