6.9 Approve amendment Financial Regs Item 2.2 from– A member other than the Chairman or a cheque signatory shall be appointed to verify and sign bank recs at least once a quarter and this shall be reported to and noted by the Finance Committee.

Full Parish Council Meeting held on Monday the 13th of March 2023 at 7pm in the Council Chamber.
Public and Press Participation- District Councillor Warren Fisher
Present: Chris Steel (chairman), Hilary Southern, Adrian Nicklin, James Parker, Susan Sheldon, Ken Moseley.
Also Present– District Councillor Warren Fisher
Louise Tipler- Clerk.

- Approval of the Minutes of the meeting held on Monday the 7th of February 2023- Proposed by Adrian, seconded by Hilary, All in favour that the minutes were an accurate record and signed by the Chairman Chris Steel.

6.1 Schedule of Payments- March 2023- Proposed by Chris, seconded by Susan, all in favour.
6.2 Income and Expenditure Reports- February 2023- Proposed by Chris, seconded by Adrian, all in favour.
6.3 Bank Reconciliation- February 2023- Proposed by Chris, seconded by Hilary, all in favour.

6.4 Ratify Costs of new Lighting in Pharmacy Area & Reimburse £1,753.50- Resolved that the payment should be reimbursed by Bank transfer, write to the Pharmacy requesting a copy of the Minor Electrical Installation works Certificate for the Council’s records.
6.5 Ratify Staff Pay Scale Increases. Proposed by Chris, seconded by Adrian, all in favour.
6.6 Approve list of regular payments as set out in Item 5.6 in the financial Regs- Approved- all in favour.
- Banking Arrangements- All reserve accounts have now been closed transferring monies into the Parish Council’s current account.
- CCLA Investment Management – Clerk to contact the CCLA to arrange a daytime meeting on Tuesday the 21st of March.

9 LNR- a meeting has been arranged at Brownshore Pools with County and District Council members, details to be forwarded to the Pools Committee
- Broad Lane Petition – Works are continuing on Broad Lane, unfortunately the residents petition to remove the speed humps and the

yellow lines permanently has been unsuccessful and will be replaced however, the humps have been reduced slightly in size.
- Long Lane Trees- A quotation has been received from Street Scene to cut down the trees at long lane, due to a safety concern the Parish Council instructed the clerk to request that the work is carried out as a matter of urgency. Proposed by Hilary, seconded by Susan- all in favour.
- Swan Park Fence- Following complaints from local residents regarding an old fence being used to access their gardens to the rear of Swan Park onto the Steadlings, Councillors agreed that the fence should be removed as soon as possible. The clerk to get a quote.
- Warm Spaces- Deferred
- Climate Change– Deferred
- Date of the next meeting- Monday the 11th of April.
