Annual Parish Council Meeting to be held on the 24th May 2021 @ 7pm in Essington Community Centre.

Public Participation
In line with Government guidelines 6x Members of the Public are welcome to attend, members of the public should attend through the main entrance and wait in a socially distanced manner in the foyer area until a member of the Parish Council invites members of the public to join the meeting. A maximum of 15 minutes will be allocated prior to commencement of the meeting should members of the public wish to ask any questions. Questions can also be emailed to the clerk up to 12pm on the 24th May for consideration by the Parish Council.

1.ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN OF THE PARISH COUNCIL
Cllr Southern proposed Cllr Chris Steel, Seconded by Cllr Haddon and resolved that Cllr Chris Steel be chairman for the forthcoming year
2. ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE OF CHAIRMAN Cllr Steel thanked members for their nomination and made a declaration of Chairman’s acceptance of office agreeing to abide by the code of conduct and signed his declaration of office.
3. ELECTION OF THE VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE PARISH COUNCIL EP870
Cllr Fisher proposed Cllr Hilary Southern, Seconded by Cllr Sam Curtis and resolved that Cllr Hilary Southern be Vice- Chairman for the forthcoming year
4. ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

. Letter From Concerned Westcroft Resident
Julie has made some enquiries with residents regarding the new Parish notice boards. Warren proposed that Council send out flyers to residents in Westcroft to give them an opportunity to give any feedback on the new noticeboard Seconded by Sam – All in Favour.
. Letter from 1911 Café – deferred to Management.
7. Finance
a. To take note of the of the Internal Audit Report 2020/2021 and note any actions.
Restate last year’s Asset Register figures, Send Copy of Significant Variances to Councilors.
b. The Annual Governance Statement 2020/2021 (section 1) is approved- All in Favour
c. The Accounting Statements 2020/2021 (section 2) are approved- All in Favour

The Chairman asked for an extension to the meeting at 8.44pm
8. Booking System ECC Hirers
Proposed by Warren to engage with rialtas for the addition of bookings system software at a cost of £877.00 Including 1 years maintenance agreement. Seconded by Gill -All in Favour
9. Re-opening ECC Hall and Facilities. Defer to Management
10. Leases Esther’s Wardrobe/1911 Café. Both businesses happy with their Licenses Council have received the 1911 Café signed copy, waiting to receive Esther’s Wardrobe.
